Judy Buswell
Having taken up painting at age 40, Judy Buswell’s vivid watercolors feature flowers and gardens- a universally appealing theme that accounts in part for her vast and growing popularity. There is also a familiarity or nostalgia that is evoked, and the sense that the images come straight from the heart. “The thing I love most about the painting is the feeling that others bring to the work- their childhoods, their dreams, their secret places,” confides Buswell. “When people tell me that they really enjoy my paintings, that’s when it’s the most fun to be a part of it.”
