Kris Jagers

Minneapolis native, Kris Jagers knew from childhood she would grow up to be an artist. Landing her first job out of college as a balloon designer shaped her desire for creating art that literally celebrates celebrations. Fast forward thirty years, and her career as a “social expression” artist has produced hundreds of thousands of her designs that have been distributed worldwide, including gift bags, greeting cards, stickers, home decor and party goods. She feels fortunate to be able to create product lines that make people smile, while fulfilling her artistic passion. From her home studio located on Minnehaha Creek in Minneapolis, Kris creates whimsical characters and cheery patterns using both traditional and digital mediums; often applying mixed techniques to bring her concepts to life. Whether her work is created digitally, or by hand, her joyful, colorful illustrations convey desire spread joy through her art.
